We decided to go the "Swan River Trail Head" it was a beautiful day for a walk. Lots of people walking their dogs and bike riding. We got to see some kayakers at the head of the "Wild Mile" and go down the river.

You can start the trailhead right in the town of Bigfork that once was the old highway to the Swan Valley. The trailhead is at the east end of Grand avenue, a couple of blocks up the hill past the Bigfork Inn.
